Halit Ozer is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) who supports individuals and couples through anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional overwhelm, and relational issues. Halit integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and his own unique POISESⒽ method that supports holistic healing by balancing physical, occupational, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual wellness. His practice is grounded in deep empathy and cultural awareness, with a particular focus on helping clients foster connection, meaning, identity, and self-awareness through the CHMPVIGSⒽ framework.
Philosophy
“I believe therapy is a space where people can learn to ‘save their day, save their life.’ I guide clients to understand what’s happening within them, identify limiting patterns, and discover new pathways through intentional awareness and daily meaning-making.”
First Session Description
In the first session, Halit creates a supportive environment where clients can share their story and begin to clarify their goals for therapy. He collaborates with each client to develop a tailored plan using the 5Ws model and POISESⒽ method. Clients typically leave the first session with both a renewed sense of direction and a few initial strategies or reflections to explore before the next meeting.
