Philosophy

“I see therapy as a sacred space where healing occurs through the will of Allah and His Grace. My role is to serve as a means (asbab) for this process, helping people realign with their fitrah and rediscover their innate potential. I believe in nurturing balance across all aspects of life—emotional well-being, physical health, spiritual growth, and relationships. True balance isn’t about perfection but finding harmony where every facet of life supports and enhances the other. Through therapy, I intend to help people explore and achieve their unique equilibrium.”

First Session Description

In the first session, Betul creates a safe and welcoming space where people feel heard and understood. She seeks to understand your story beyond the problem story, exploring the broader context of your experiences, values, and strengths. Together, you will set goals for therapy and identify meaningful ways to support your healing journey. By the end of the session, you can expect to feel more clarity about your path forward and a sense of empowerment to move ahead.
